The outcome will benefit your child, you and your family. By giving you the confidence to put these gentle but effective methods in place, it allows your whole family to get more sleep which is essential.
MY QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
I have over 20 years experience working with children.
I completed the Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education at Weymouth College. This qualification meant that I worked with children from 3 months to 5 years completing work experience in nurseries, schools and home placements. After college I was offered a permanent job from one of my placements and spent a year working in the baby room in a nursery. I then decided to progress with my education and went on to Winchester University where I achieved a BA Hons degree in Early Years Education.
After graduating in 2007 I moved to London to become a nanny for actors and comedians in Notting Hill, which I very happily did for 10 years. During this time I worked for 3 families - so I stayed with each family for a number of years enjoying, learning and growing with them.
In 2018, I qualified as a Sleep Consultant after completing the OCN Level 4 Gentle Sleep Coach training course.

Alongside my sleep consultancy work, I spend two days a week working with babies and toddlers at Sunninghill Nursery in Dorchester, which was recently recognised as one of the Top 20 Nurseries in the South West for the second year running. Working hands-on with young children every week allows me to stay closely connected to child development, routines and the day-to-day realities families face.

Most importantly, I am also mama to a hilarious seven-year-old daughter who has shown me not only the joy and wonder of parenthood, but also just how exhausting and overwhelming it can sometimes feel!
